Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Coral - Personal Stylist & Wardrobe mobile application ("App", "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Overview

Coral is an AI-powered personal styling and wardrobe management application developed and operated by an independent developer ("Developer", "I", "me", "my"). The App allows you to photograph your wardrobe, receive AI-generated outfit recommendations, access style advice, and use virtual try-on features.

The Service is provided on a freemium basis, with additional features available through a paid Pro subscription.

Core commitments: We never sell your data. We never track you across apps or websites.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

You may create an account using email and password or supported third-party sign-in providers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary.

4. User Content

4.1 Your Photos and Data

You retain full ownership of all photos, images, and personal data you upload to the App ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant the Developer a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account.

4.2 How Your Content Is Processed

Your photos are processed using artificial intelligence to detect, extract, and analyze individual garments. This processing includes:

• Garment detection and cropping from uploaded photos
• AI-generated descriptions of garment attributes (color, pattern, material, style, fit)
• Embedding generation for similarity matching and outfit recommendations
• Person segmentation for virtual try-on features (no facial features are analyzed or modified)

4.3 AI-Generated Content

Outfit recommendations, style advice, wardrobe insights, and shopping assessments are generated by AI models. These are suggestions only and do not constitute professional fashion advice. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You acknowledge that purchasing decisions and styling choices remain your sole responsibility.

4.4 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

• You do not own or have the right to use
• Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material
• Contains images of minors
• Is intended to exploit or reverse-engineer the AI models

5. Sponsored Content

The App's shopping assist feature may display items that are sponsored or promoted by retailers. Sponsored items are clearly identified. Recommendations are based solely on your wardrobe data within the App (such as gaps in your wardrobe or style compatibility); no personal data is shared with retailers or advertisers, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking is used.

6. Free and Pro Plans

5.1 Free Plan

The Free plan provides lifetime usage limits for uploads, virtual try-ons, and style chat interactions. Once a limit is reached, upgrading to Pro is required to continue using that feature.

5.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan is a recurring subscription that provides higher weekly usage limits and additional features. Pro subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

5.3 Promotional Access Codes

The Developer may issue promotional access codes that grant temporary Pro plan access. Access codes are single-use, non-transferable, and subject to expiration. The Developer reserves the right to revoke access codes at any time.

5.4 Billing and Cancellation

• Subscription fees are charged through your App Store or Google Play account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings
• Refund requests should be directed to Apple or Google, as they process all payments

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
• Attempt to extract, copy, or reverse-engineer the AI models or their outputs at scale
• Upload content designed to manipulate or exploit AI model behavior

8. Intellectual Property

7.1 Developer's Property

The App, including its design, code, AI integrations, algorithms, and branding, is owned by the Developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the Developer's intellectual property except the limited right to use the App as intended.

7.2 Your Rights

You retain all intellectual property rights in your User Content. AI-generated suggestions (outfit recommendations, style advice) are provided for your personal use and do not transfer any IP from the underlying AI models to you.

7.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant the Developer the right to use them without obligation or compensation to you.

9. Virtual Try-On

The virtual try-on feature uses person segmentation technology to composite garment images onto user photos. This feature:

• Uses mask-based segmentation only — no facial features or body proportions are modified
• Produces approximate visualizations that may differ from real-world appearance
• Should not be relied upon as an accurate representation of fit or sizing

10. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services for infrastructure, AI processing, and payment handling. Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are in place with all subprocessors that handle your data. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party services. The Developer is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• AI-generated recommendations will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose
• Garment detection, color analysis, or attribute extraction will be error-free
• Virtual try-on visualizations will accurately represent real-world appearance

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Purchasing decisions made based on AI recommendations
• Loss of uploaded photos or wardrobe data
• Inaccurate garment analysis or outfit suggestions
• Service interruptions or data loss

THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Upon deletion:

• Your user profile and preferences are permanently removed
• Your wardrobe data (garments, attributes, embeddings) is permanently deleted
• Your uploaded photos are permanently deleted from cloud storage
• Your subscription status is recorded for billing reconciliation only
• Deletion is permanent and irreversible

14. Modifications to the Service and Terms

The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify you of material changes.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
